Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Aveva Technical Lead with strong expertise in Aveva Wonderware MES, Manufacturing domain operations, and IT OT integration. The ideal consultant will serve as the technical leader for MES implementation projects, ensuring full lifecycle delivery including design, development, integration, and support.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
  • Lead and manage a team of MES developers through end-to-end project execution.
  • Serve as the primary technical authority for Aveva MES implementations.
MES Implementation & Support
  • Lead at least one full lifecycle MES implementation using Aveva Wonderware MES.
  • Design and develop MES system architecture and integration layouts across Enterprise, Operations, Controls/Automation, and Field levels.
  • Deliver advanced configurations and enhancements for:
    • Operation Module
    • Quality Module
    • Performance Module
  • Set up MES environments, perform platform readiness reviews, and ensure system reliability.
Aveva Product Expertise
Hands-on experience with:
  • Aveva WorkTask / Work Tasks
  • Aveva System Platform
  • Aveva Historian
  • Aveva Insight & Intelligence
  • Object Integration Server
Manufacturing & IT-OT Integration
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and optimization frameworks.
  • Proficient in IT-OT convergence, OPC communications, PLCs, SCADA, automation systems, and industrial connectivity.
Industry Standards & Best Practices
  • Deep functional understanding of ISA-95, ISA-88, and MESA standards.
  • Ability to map business requirements to MES functionalities and modules.
Software Development Skills
  • Experience designing and developing MES solutions using .NET technologies.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, integrate, and support Aveva MES software components.
Certifications
  • AVEVA Certified Support Provider preferred (Wonderware MES).
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related technical field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Manufacturing IT systems.
  • 5+ years hands-on with Aveva/ Wonderware MES platform.
  • Proven experience leading MES teams and delivering enterprise-level solutions.
