Overview:
We are seeking an Oracle Data Integrator Specialist who will support our client. The ODI Specialist will lead the ETL Assessment and Proof of Concept (PoC) phases focused on evaluating and migrating Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) ETL processes to Python-based ETL tools. This includes code analysis, strategy development, and stakeholder engagement.
Duties:

Review and analyze existing ETL code in ODI.

Estimate effort, challenges, and risks for migration to Python-based ETL tools.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand current ETL processes.

Develop a PoC to demonstrate functionalities on Databricks and/or Amazon Glue.

Validate compatibility and performance of migrated ETL processes.

Document assessment findings and PoC recommendations.

Manage resources efficiently and meet project timelines.

Provide resource recommendations for additional roles if needed.
Mandatory Qualifications:
-
8+ years' experience with ODI and Python-based ETL tools.

5+ years of relevant ETL experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.

2+ years' experience in a large healthcare system.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).

Strong knowledge of ETL best practices and methodologies.
Desirable Qualifications:
-
Proficiency in Python, Pandas, and Spark.

Certifications and experience with process improvement techniques (such as Lean Six Sigma, Agile, PDCA cycles, and Kanban), Project Management, Business Analysis, or similar.

Technical certifications and experience such as ITIL Service Management, Comp TIA certifications, Oracle, Microsoft. Cisco, AWS, certifications, or areas such as IT Governance, IT Auditing, IT Risk Management, etc.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

A master's degree.
