Enterprise Videography / Digital Content Prodcuer
The Enterprise Videography & Digital Content Producer is responsible for planning, producing, and delivering high-quality video, motion graphics, and digital assets that advance district strategy and communicate technology initiatives.
The role serves a diverse portfolio across the Strategy and Technology Division which includes IT Services, Data Services, Charter Schools, School Governance, and Research & Evaluation. The successful candidate will partner with leaders and subject-matter experts to create content for executive communications, stakeholder engagement, professional development, staff training, and public transparency.
Key Responsibilities
The Enterprise Videography & Digital Content Producer is responsible for planning, producing, and delivering high-quality video, motion graphics, and digital assets that advance district strategy and communicate technology initiatives.
The role serves a diverse portfolio across the Strategy and Technology Division which includes IT Services, Data Services, Charter Schools, School Governance, and Research & Evaluation. The successful candidate will partner with leaders and subject-matter experts to create content for executive communications, stakeholder engagement, professional development, staff training, and public transparency.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Video Production: Lead pre-production, filming, audio, lighting, direction, and post-production for executive updates, program explainers, and event coverage (e.g., board and governance sessions).
- Professional Development Support: Produce digital stories and videos that support professional development programs, including training modules, onboarding content, and instructional resources for educators and staff.
- Graphics Design: Design professional motion graphics, lower-thirds, title sequences, and animated infographics optimized for web and social channels.
- Data Storytelling: Translate research findings, program KPIs, and evaluation results into concise visual narratives and data stories (e.g., animated charts, dashboard walkthroughs, case studies).
- Data Fluency: Partner with Data Services and Research & Evaluation to visualize datasets accurately and ethically; create videos and graphics that improve data fluency for non-technical audiences.
- IT & Change Management: Collaborate with IT Services on technology rollouts, how-to tutorials, and service awareness campaigns; support change-management communications with clear, engaging media.
- Governance & Charter Support: Produce content that clarifies governance processes, timelines, and decisions; support charter school communications (spotlights, program features) consistent with district standards.
- Operations & Standards: Maintain studio kits and field gear; establish templates and graphics packages that enforce visual identity and accessibility (captions, transcripts, WCAG).
- Create clean, modern visuals for both digital and print use
- Turn rough ideas, notes, or examples into polished designs
- Design logos, simple illustrations, and branded graphics
- Be well-versed in Adobe Creative Cloud, including
- Illustrator
- Photoshop
- InDesign
- Premiere Pro (video editing)
- After Effects (basic motion graphics)
- Follow brand guidelines and maintain consistent style
- Deliver final files in standard formats (PNG, JPG, SVG, PDF, and source files)
- Be open to feedback and quick revisions
- Communicate clearly and hit agreed-upon deadlines
- Education: Bachelor's degree in film/video, digital media, communications, visual design, journalism, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Visual Design: Demonstrated motion-graphics capability (kinetic typography, infographics, logo animation) and strong visual design fundamentals.
- Digital Platforms: Experience producing content for Microsoft 365 environments (Stream, Teams, SharePoint) and managing digital assets at enterprise scale.
- Experience in K-12 public education or public sector communications.
- Portfolio showcasing executive communications, program explainers, and digital storytelling.
