Overview:

We are seeking a Junior Network Administrator to support their Network Connectivity Platform (NCP) Team. The ideal candidate will assist in administering and maintaining remote access infrastructure and two-factor authentication (2FA) systems. This role will be instrumental in securing remote access, ensuring business continuity, and supporting users across 32,000+ global sites.
Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain the Entrust Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) platform.
• Configure, administer, and document policies for remote access authentication.
• Manage and troubleshoot remote access solutions such as VPN and SD-WAN.
• Perform high-level troubleshooting of network and application issues related to remote access.
• Adhere to strict Information Systems security guidelines in all instances.

Activities Will Include:

• 2FA Implementation: Deploy and configure Two-Factor Authentication solutions across systems, applications, and network resources to strengthen authentication and access controls.
• User Management: Handle user profiles, authentication methods, enrollment processes, and access policies to ensure secure access.
• Incident Response: Monitor 2FA logs, analyze authentication activity, investigate suspicious patterns, and respond to potential security incidents.
• Certificate Lifecycle Management: Track and manage certificate expirations, renewals, revocations, and updates for compliance and continuity.
• Remote Access Monitoring: Monitor and maintain remote access infrastructure including VPNs, routers, and switches.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Entrust products including 2FA, certificate management, and encryption tools.
• Strong understanding of remote access technologies (VPN, SD-WAN).
• Solid grasp of network fundamentals - TCP/IP, OSI model, routing, switching, subnetting.
• Experience troubleshooting network and application-layer issues, especially those affecting remote access.
• Understanding of application layer protocols (HTTP, SSH, SSL, etc.).
• Ability to work cross-functionally to integrate and support secure communication systems.
• Excellent communication skills for delivering end-user technical support and documentation.
• Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• High attention to detail with a focus on documentation and policy adherence.
• Strong time management, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  
  

Desired Skills:

• Hands-on experience with the Entrust toolset in enterprise or corporate environments.
• Experience working as a Two-Factor Administrator or similar role.
• Familiarity with Cisco ISE for user and policy management.
• Exposure to supporting and troubleshooting large-scale network environments.
