Product Manager Location: Remote (Preferred EST Time Zone)
Contract through January 2026 (with potential for extension)

Brooksource is searching for a Product Manager to support our client s Supply Chain Technology organization, specifically within the Inventory Planning and Replenishment (IPNR) space. This role is a backfill for a recently rolled-off Product Manager and will join a collaborative, fast-paced team focused on inventory management solutions that ensure products are accurately tracked and available in-store and for vendors.

You will work closely with the Purchase Order Management Engineering team and business stakeholders to drive the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery and design to development and delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison between business teams and engineering, ensuring product needs are well understood and translated into actionable requirements
  • Drive the full product lifecycle: discovery, design, development, and delivery
  • Define and maintain product backlog, write user stories, and manage technical requirements using tools like Jira or Jira Align
  • Participate in daily standups with engineering, helping to manage priorities, timelines, and delivery expectations
  • Ensure product quality by understanding QA processes and identifying potential testing discrepancies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on product goals and ensure successful deployments

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3 5 years of experience in Product Management within an agile software development environment
  • Proven ability to own the design, development, and deployment of non-customer-facing products
  • Strong understanding of inventory management or supply chain systems is highly preferred
  • Experience collaborating directly with engineers and understanding technical architecture at a high level
  • Ability to create clear, thorough documentation (technical requirements, diagrams, user stories, etc.)
  • Experience working with QA teams and understanding test case validation and issue triaging
  • Strong communicator who can take ownership of initiatives and follow through to execution

Additional Details:

  • Team/Environment: This role sits on a high-performing team within IPNR. You ll work alongside one other consultant and a group of engineers currently building and supporting products that track and manage inventory across Home Depot s ecosystem.
