About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Report Author to support reporting needs within healthcare and clinical operations. The ideal candidate will have advanced Power BI development expertise and the ability to transform complex datasets into actionable insights. This role will be key in building, optimizing, and maintaining reports that drive informed decision-making across clinical and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement advanced Power BI reports and dashboards tailored to healthcare and clinical operations.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand data needs, and deliver meaningful visualizations.

  • Write and optimize SQL queries and utilize DAX for advanced data modeling and calculations.

  • Ensure accuracy, performance, and scalability of reports across large healthcare datasets.

  • Partner with IT, data, and clinical operations teams to align reporting with business objectives.

  • Document reporting processes and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven expertise in Power BI report development (advanced skill set, not basic).

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and DAX.

  • Experience in healthcare or clinical operations reporting.

  • Hands-on experience with EHR (Electronic Health Records) or medical billing systems.

  • Ability to analyze complex data sets and provide actionable insights.

  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with healthcare data governance, compliance, and reporting standards.

  • Experience handling large, sensitive datasets in regulated industries.
