Job Summary We are seeking a seasoned Kafka Architect to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of Apache Kafka-based platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in event-driven architecture, stream processing, and large-scale Kafka implementations. Key Responsibilities Architect and deploy scalable Kafka platforms. Define best practices for Kafka implementation, integration, and security. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Oversee Kafka cluster setup, configuration, and tuning for high availability. Develop policies for data retention, topic management, and disaster recovery. Guide migration and integration projects, including cloud adoption. Mentor development teams on Kafka concepts and best practices. Monitor system health and implement performance improvements. Required Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field. 1416 years of IT experience, including 5+ years in Kafka architecture. Expertise in Kafka internals, stream processing (Kafka Streams, ksqlDB), and real-time analytics. Strong knowledge of event-driven architecture and enterprise integrations. Hands-on experience with Kafka security (SSL, SASL, ACLs) and compliance. Proficiency in Java, Scala, or Python. Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for Kafka deployments. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Education: Bachelors Degree
