Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead and manage the implementation of Unified Communications (UC) and Contact Center migration projects for the Customer account within the healthcare vertical. The Customer is transitioning from competing UC and Contact Center solutions (e.g., Avaya, Genesys) to new technologies, requiring expert project management to ensure a smooth migration and adoption.

This role is critical to delivering complex projects successfully while strengthening customer relationships and driving company product adoption. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical expertise in UC and Contact Center products and deep healthcare industry experience, which is essential to meet the Customer’s high standards and complex project demands. This position is primarily remote, with periodic onsite visits to the customer.

The ideal candidate will also have experience leveraging generative AI tools to enhance project management workflows - automating documentation, generating reports, optimizing task planning, and driving strategic insights. Familiarity with these tools will enable faster, smarter decision-making and support our internal culture of continuous innovation and upskilling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple concurrent Unified Communications (UC) and Contact Center migration projects for the Customer.
  • Ensure the smooth transition from competing UC and Contact Center solutions (e.g., Avaya, Genesys) to new technology.
Deliver projects on time, within scope, and to the high standards expected by the Customer.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate project risks and resolve challenges efficiently.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Customer stakeholders to foster trust and satisfaction.
  • Support the strategic growth of the Customer account, recognized as a Key account for its significant revenue potential.
  • Address past project management challenges as part of the formal Get Well Plan to ensure sustained success and customer satisfaction.
  • Periodically travel onsite to the customer as needed to support project milestones and strengthen relationships.
  • Integrate generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini) into daily project management activities to streamline planning, reporting, and stakeholder communications.
Required Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of UC and Contact Center products, as well as experience transitioning from competing solutions (e.g., Avaya, Genesys).
  • Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects effectively.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry, with a strong understanding of its unique challenges and requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving and risk mitigation abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Leadership skills with a track record of driving strategic initiatives and achieving results.
  • Working knowledge of generative AI tools and their application in project management contexts (e.g., summarizing meetings, writing status reports, drafting communication, and risk analysis).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with client's Get Well Plans or similar project recovery methodologies.
  • Experience working with Key accounts or managing high-revenue customer relationships.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar project management software.
  • Experience training or mentoring teams in the use of generative AI tools for professional productivity and project execution.
