RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is looking for a BI Developer for an onsite, direct hire opportunity in Shawnee Mission, KS. The BI Developer needs hands-on experience in Power BI, Power Automate, and SQL. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a passion for turning data into actionable insights. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining BI solutions, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting business decision-making through dashboards, reports, and automated workflows.
Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide meaningful business insights
* Build and manage Power Automate flows to streamline and automate business processes
* Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple data sources
* Validate and ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reporting and analysis activities
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions
* Support data integration efforts, including connecting Power BI to diverse systems and data warehouses
* Monitor performance and optimize BI solutions for scalability and efficiency
* Maintain documentation of BI processes, datasets, and data models
REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum of 2 years of experience developing BI solutions with Power BI and Power Automate
* Strong SQL development skills with experience in data modeling, query optimization, and data validation
* Experience working with relational databases and data warehousing concepts
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills with attention to detail
* Proven ability to analyze, interpret, and visualize complex datasets
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results within deadlines
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
