Description
We're seeking a skilled SSRS Report Developer to support our team in designing, developing, and maintaining reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) 2012 and 2017. This is a hands-on role focused on building both simple operational reports and more complex data visualizations. You'll collaborate closely with the development team to deliver high-quality reports.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, deploy, and maintain tabular and matrix reports in SSRS 2012/2017.
Translate business and technical requirements into reusable reporting solutions.
Optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for performance and accuracy.
Manage report subscriptions and configure appropriate security permissions.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing reports and data sources.
Work with SQL Server views, stored procedures, and functions to support reporting needs.
Maintain documentation on report logic, versioning, and deployment processes.
Participate in code reviews and follow source control and deployment best practices.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
3-5 years of hands-on experience withSSRS2012 and/or 2017.
Strong T-SQL skills: able to write complex queries, joins, subqueries, and CTEs.
Solid understanding of relational database structures and SQL Server internals.
Proven experience using stored procedures, views, and functions in reporting scenarios.
High attention to detail and a strong commitment to data quality.
Clear communication skills with the ability to work independently and effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with performance tuning forSSRSreports and backend queries.
Familiarity with parameterized reports, expressions, and dynamic layouts/groupings.
