REQUIRED SKILLS | Objectives: - Conduct a comprehensive analysis of client s current Microsoft EA stack.
- Identify opportunities for optimization and cost savings within Microsoft's EA. Ex: make sure we are not paying twice for the same thing.
- Provide recommendations on product usage and licensing for the upcoming renewal.
- Make recommendations on staff training that may be necessary for the use of recommended products or features.
- Ensure alignment with client s operational needs.
Responsibilities: Current State Assessment: - Review and document the current Microsoft EA stack, including all products, and licenses to identify underutilization and redundancies.
- Conduct up to 10 interviews with key units and stakeholders to understand current and future needs.
- Conduct a survey with all JWB staff to identify the type of work performed, determine usage, and knowledge of products and analyze the results.
- Review Organizational chart, up to twenty position profiles (typically one page) from each area, and a list of position profile requirements for software by position (provided by client.)
Recommendations: - Enhanced Productivity
- Identify products and specific features that would enhance productivity by position, position type or unit.
- Identify training opportunities by position, position type, or unit
- Optimization and Cost Savings:
- Provide recommendations for consolidating or eliminating redundant licenses.
- Suggest alternative licensing options that may offer better value for client
Qualifications: The proposed consultant for the project should have a minimum of 8 years of experience in the field evaluating the Microsoft Stack with governmental organizations of similar size and scope. The consultant should have a strong understanding of Microsoft licensing, products, and product features to conduct a comprehensive analysis and identify opportunities for optimization and cost savings. |
