Short job description:

Perform complex business analysis and technical tasks such as project planning, process improvement, writing requirements, system design, data analysis, interface analysis, system testing, system rollout and system support. Focus is to enhance and support VSP s biometric processes with a focus on processes that use VSP s Multimodal Biometrics Identification System (MBIS) and LiveScan fingerprint capture.

Skill, Knowledge, Abilities:

Candidates for this position should possess strong organization, administrative, analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills;
self-motivated and able to develop rapport and positive working relationships with coworkers and the agency at large;
proficient in Organizational Change Management;
have an understanding of business analysis concepts such as identifying and interpreting risk assessments;
able to produce requirements and related artifacts such as test cases, requirements traceability matrix, business rules, interface requirements, use cases, activity diagrams, error validations and role based system profiles;
able to manage security access and user profile management;
able to work collaboratively with various groups within VSP and VSP vendors to ensure requirements are vetted and documented;
able to analyze functional/nonfunctional system requirements;
able to re-engineer business processes;
able to identify how new applications and business processes will integrate with or replace existing business processes;
possess excellent communication skills in English and the ability to communicate with internal customers in nontechnical terms;
proficient with Microsoft Products (,).
