Job Purpose: The Department of Children and Families (the "Department" or "DCF") is seeking qualified Technical Trainer that will assist the Office of Information Technology (OITS) in their daily operations, support, and services. The services requested in the following Collaboration will be procured in accordance with the Department of Management Services (DMS) State Term Contract (STC).
About the Candidate: Qualifications Education - Bachelor s or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Or equivalent work experience.
Required Experience 1. Knowledge of FloridaSafeFamiliesNetwork (FSFN), FL CCWIS, or records/case management systems and associated workflows. 2. Experience in organizing data into logical formats for presentation in reports, documents, and other written materials. 3. Experience in conducting fact-finding research. 4. Experience in utilizing problem-solving techniques. 5. Ability to work independently. 6. Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures relating to operational and management analysis activities. 7. Ability to organize and develop learning solutions. 8. Ability to communicate effectively. 9. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. 10. Strong knowledge of curriculum development. 11. Ability to partner with project leads and stakeholders. 12. Ability to provide excellent customer support; meticulous quality of work and work product.
Primary Job Duties and Tasks
Participate in regular Florida Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS) meetings to determine what portions of CCWIS are ready for curriculum development Development of Training Content including User Guides, Communications, and Videos Maintain contact with the CCWIS Team Lead and other project leads Assists in ensuring the curriculum aligns with Florida Statute, Florida Administrative Code, and Department CFOP Clear and frequent communication with CCWIS Team and CCWIS stakeholders Prepare reports on CCWIS training compliance Create FAQs and learner resources as needs are identified Ability to work flexible hours including possible nights and weekends Ability to evolve quickly by learning the environment and technologies used and the applications assigned. Must provide examples of good time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. |
