A Global Fortune 50 Partner of ours in Aerospace & Defense is looking for a Talend Middleware Pipeline Expert to join their Operations and Supply Chain Applications team for a high-visibility project! This person will spearhead an enterprise-wide data migration initiative that leverages Talend Data Integration to consolidate disparate information from SAP systems into a unified platform. They will be coming into an environment where Kinaxis and Talend have been set up. However, it has not been fully deployed, so they will be involved in continuing to roll it out and add additional functionality to subsequent sites. REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4+ years developing with Talend Middleware Pipelines for Data Integration in SAP systems utilizing the following tools: Talend Studio, Talend Cloud, and Talend data integration
  • Experience automating ETL processes enabling near real time processes in Kinaxis RapidResponse
  • Hands-on experience using Talend to design, develop, and optimize scalable ETL pipelines 
  • 4-year degree in MIS or Computer Science
  • SAP integration knowledge (IDoc, BAPI, RFC, etc.)
  • Experience working with both Kinaxis RapidResponse and Talend together
  • Strong SQL and API (REST/SOA) skills
  • Experience working in an SAP ECC or S/4 HANA environment
  • Familiarity working in a Cloud environment (AWS, Azure)

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Kinaxis Certified Consultant
  • Experience supporting the DoD

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain Talend ETL jobs between SAP and Kinaxis
  • Integrate SAP data via IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, or HANA queries
  • Work with Kinaxis teams to manage data loads and interfaces
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and document data workflows
  • Able to ensure performance, data quality, and compliance
