Akkodis is seeking a Data Engineer for a Contract with a client in Atlanta, GA(Remote). The ideal candidate's responsibilities include designing and leading data warehouse solutions in the banking domain and performing advanced SQL analysis as a Business System Analyst.
Rate Range: $57/hour to 59/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Pay Details: $57.00 to $59.00 per hour

Data Engineer job responsibilities include:
- Design and develop ETL pipelines using Ab Initio, including advanced features like metaprogramming, PDL, and reusable frameworks.
- Act as both a Business System Analyst and Technical Lead, leveraging strong SQL skills to analyze data and guide solution design.
- Work on data ingestion and transformation for data warehouse solutions, ensuring scalability and performance in the banking domain.
- Collaborate in agile development processes, including backlog grooming, coding, code reviews, testing, and deployment.
- Perform end-to-end testing, including test planning, execution, defect logging, and retesting to ensure data integrity.
- Coach team members and share best practices, contributing to continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in ETL development and data warehousing.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Ab Initio, including metaprogramming, PDL, and solution design.
- Proven ability to act as both a Business Analyst and Technical Lead, with advanced SQL skills and experience in the banking domain.
