Pega Lead Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and certified Pega Lead Developer to drive design, development, and delivery of Pega applications. The candidate will play a key role in leading development teams, defining technical solutions, and ensuring adherence to Pega best practices and enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of Pega applications and workflows.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Provide leadership and technical direction to Pega development teams.
• Work with business stakeholders, architects, and other developers to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Define application architecture, class structures, data models, and integration strategies.
• Mentor junior developers and review code/design for compliance with Pega best practices.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing Pega applications.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum environments and ensure proper use of DevOps pipelines.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 12+ years of IT experience with at least 8+ years in Pega PRPC.
• Pega Certified (CSSA/CLSA) mandatory.
• Strong expertise in Pega PRPC v8.x (or higher) architecture and rule design.
• Experience in case management, integrations (REST/SOAP), data transforms, activities, decision strategies, and UI rules.
• Hands-on experience with Pega frameworks (e.g., Customer Service, Marketing, or BPM).
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tools.
• Experience in designing reusable components, frameworks, and accelerators.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Leadership experience in guiding teams and coordinating with stakeholders.

Good to Have:

• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform) with Pega deployment.
• Knowledge of Kafka, JMS, or message-based integrations.
• Experience with UI/UX improvements within Pega.

• Prior experience working in Banking, Insurance, or Healthcare domains.
