Job Details

Job Title: Integration Business Analyst
Location: Kansas City, MO (On-site)
Type: Contract

We are seeking a technically fluent and detail-oriented Integration Business Analyst based in Kansas City or Dallas to support enterprise integration efforts. This role will bridge the gap between business and technical teams, ensuring smooth and secure integration of systems, data flows, and APIs critical to business operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and architects to gather and validate integration requirements.

  • Convert business needs into functional specs for APIs and integration flows.

  • Design secure and scalable integration solutions with Azure API Management and/or Mulesoft.

  • Develop end-to-end process maps, data flow diagrams, and interface specs.

  • Conduct data mapping and transformation analysis across systems.

  • Define integration test cases and support QA validation efforts.

  • Participate in Agile activities like sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.

  • Track integration-related tasks using Azure DevOps.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 3+ years as a Business Analyst focused on systems integration.

  • Expertise in API-led architecture, RESTful services, and security.

  • Hands-on experience with Azure API Management and/or Mulesoft Anypoint Platform.

  • Familiarity with Swagger/OpenAPI, RAML, Postman, and Azure DevOps.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Agile environment experience; Insurance domain knowledge preferred.
