Technical Project Manager- Investment Banking

Loc: 2 Days: Client site (NYC/Jersey City) 2 Days: Edison, NJ

Term: Fulltime/ Contract To Perm

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager with Investment Banking experience to spearhead new initiatives in our expanding market within BFSI domain.

This is a heavily Client Facing role. ONLY those who are willing to work with Sales & Technical Teams to increase/expand footprints by constantly looking for/ creating new opportunities within serviced client MAY APPLY!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution: Developing project plans, defining objectives, and managing resources to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicating with and managing relationships with various stakeholders, including internal teams, clients, and other involved parties.
  • Risk Management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks associated with projects, including market, regulatory, and operational risks.
  • Financial Management: Tracking project budgets, expenses, and financial performance.
  • Communication and Reporting: Providing regular updates on project progress, issues, and risks to relevant stakeholders.
  • Best Practices: Set up and ensure Best Practices in Project Implementations
  • Compliance: Ensuring projects adhere to relevant regulations and compliance standards.
  • Increase Footprints: Work with Sales & Technical Teams to increase/expand

footprints by constantly looking for/creating new opportunities within serviced client


Skills and Qualifications:

  • 17-22 years of experience in IT industry implementing projects for Global Investment Banks in one or more of the following: Securities Trading Systems, Risk Management Systems, Portfolio Management Systems, Commercial Lending/Borrowing, Regulatory Systems, Data/Cloud Migrations, Integration and AI based initiatives.
  • 7-10 years Technical background in one or more of the following: Application Development, Data Management or Integration
  • Experience with platforms such as Calypso, Murex, Sapphire, Fidessa, Broadridge would be a plus (but not a must)
  • Experience with various Project implementation methodologies includingAgile, Waterfall and Hybrid
  • Project Management Tools: Experience with tools like MS Projects/JIRA or other relevant platforms.
  • Proven track record in helping employer expand footprints within serviced client
  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial concepts, investment banking processes, and market dynamics.
  • Leadership and Communication: Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex situations, identify problems, and develop effective solutions.
  • Experience in working in onsite/offshore environment
  • Relevant Certifications: PMP or Prince2 certifications are preferred,
