Project Description:
We are looking for an experienced Cutover Manager to support the IT workstream of a company spinoff. For this large-scale program, we need someone who can oversee the planning and execution of IT transition activities to ensure a smooth separation of IT services. The System Cutover and Hyper Care Stabilization Manager would be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing the transition of systems during major implementations related to company spinoff. This role ensures seamless cutover from legacy company systems to spinoff systems and provides expert oversight during the hyper care stabilization period to guarantee operational continuity, rapid issue resolution, and optimal system performance.

We are looking for an experienced Cutover Manager to support the IT workstream of a company spinoff. For this large-scale program, we need someone who can oversee the planning and execution of IT transition activities to ensure a smooth separation of IT services. Key Responsibilities
- Cutover Planning and Execution:
- Lead the development and execution of detailed, holistic, end-to-end cutover plans, including timeline management, resource allocation, risk assessment, and communication with stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Coordination:
- Collaborate/coordinate with cross-functional teams-IT, business units, vendors, and external partners-to ensure alignment and readiness for system transitions.
- Risk and Issue Management:
- Identify potential risks and issues related to cutover activities, create mitigation strategies, and ensure timely escalation and resolution.
- Hyper Care Oversight:
- Manage and monitor the hyper care phase post-cutover, ensuring rapid response to incidents, tracking stabilization metrics, and maintaining high levels of system availability and user satisfaction.
- Communication and Reporting:
- Provide regular status updates, incident reports, and performance metrics to leadership and stakeholders throughout cutover and stabilization periods.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Capture lessons learned and drive process improvements for future cutover and hyper care activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- At least 5-7 years of IT project management experience, with a specific focus on end-to-end cutover planning or transition management
- Ability to oversee cutover activities, including documentation, communication, risk planning/mitigation, rollback readiness, go-live execution, and hyper care planning
- Experience with runbook development and execution, including task orchestration and tracking
- Ability to oversee and ensure business testing and technical validation
- Strong understanding of enterprise systems, infrastructure, applications, cloud systems, data migration, and business process change management
- Proven experience with technical change management, technical migrations/integrations, and hypercare support in large transformation initiatives
- Ability to develop and manage detailed cutover plans across multiple IT domains and workstreams
- Ability to manage and maintain documentation for audits and overall governance
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced, global team environment balancing many priorities
