Skills required:
- Technical Leadership: Deep experience in PolicyCenter implementation, configuration, and customization. Provide hands-on leadership and guidance to development teams working on Guidewire PolicyCenter Cloud.
- Architecture & Design: Define and lead the architectural design of Guidewire solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Development & Configuration: Engage in hands-on development, configuration, and customization of Guidewire PolicyCenter applications on Cloud
- Integration: Design and implement integrations between Guidewire PolicyCenter and other systems.
- Mentorship: Mentor and develop junior team members, sharing expertise and promoting best practices.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and align technical solutions.
- Technical Proficiency: Skills in Guidewire APD/Studio, Java, and XML for configuration and integration development.
- Software Development Lifecycle: Experience in the entire SDLC, including analysis, design, development, testing, and maintenance.
- Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with agile delivery processes and distributed teams.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills to manage teams and client relationships effectively
Job Description:
- Deep Guidewire PolicyCenter Expertise in Solution Design & Architecture: Lead the end-to-end technical design and architecture of PolicyCenter solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with business goals.
- Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Provide technical guidance, conduct code and design reviews, and mentor developers and solution consultants.
- Platform Configuration & Customization: Oversee the configuration and extension of PolicyCenter using Gosu, PCF, Data Model, Rules, and Workflows.
- Integrations: Ability to Design and develop integrations between PolicyCenter and other systems using APIs and messaging frameworks.
- Architectural Principles, Best Practices & Standards: Define and enforce technical standards, integration patterns, and coding best practices across PolicyCenter programs.
- Performance & Scalability: Drive initiatives to ensure the performance, scalability, high availability, and security of PolicyCenter implementations.
- Documentation: Create and maintain architecture documentation, solution design documents, and technical roadmaps.
- Collaboration: Work closely with business teams, analysts, project managers, and QA/DevOps teams to translate requirements and support deployments.
- Guidewire Evolution: Stay informed about new Guidewire features, capabilities, and upgrade paths, including Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP) and digital products.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Gosu, PCF, Typelists, and other core Guidewire components.
- Leadership & Communication: Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Agile/Scrum: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Cloud Experience: Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP) and cloud-native patterns is often preferred
Pay Range in San Antonio, TX:
Base Salary: $65000 - $133100
In addition, this position qualifies for benefits like health insurance, paid time off (PTO), 401(K). Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, education, and/or to comply with federal or state law.
