RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Contracts Analyst II; Procurement Specialist - Design & Construction (100% Onsite). The client is looking for local candidates only. This person must be available for in-person interviews and onsite work in downtown Phoenix, AZ. The work schedule is Monday-Friday, onsite.

We are seeking a detail-driven, contract-savvy professional to lead complex design and construction procurements for a dynamic state agency. This is a high-impact role where your expertise will shape major projects from the ground up.
Key Tasks:
* Lead and manage end-to-end procurement processes for design and construction projects
* Draft, review, and process complex contracts with precision and compliance
* Navigate general procurement regulations with confidence; Title 34 experience is a major plus
* Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless execution
* Present procurement strategies and updates to stakeholders-public speaking skills are a bonus
* Utilize eProcurement platforms like OpenGov, Bonfire, or Public Purchase to streamline workflows
REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience in public sector procurement, especially in construction or design
* Strong working knowledge of contract law and procurement best practices
* Familiarity with eProcurement tools (OpenGov, Bonfire, etc.)
* A combination of relevant education and progressive experience
* Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday; Remote interviews, but in-person presence required
* Local candidates only: resumes must clearly state current location

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
