RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Product Manager in Irvine, CA.
Summary:
You will own the product strategy and roadmap for core card systems, onboarding flows, fraud prevention, and AI/ML-enhanced risk tooling. This includes collaborating with legal, compliance, engineering, and data science to deliver a platform that is both user-centric and regulation-ready. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a cross-functional environment and enjoys balancing innovation with the rigor required in financial services.
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of product management experience in fintech, card issuing, fraud/risk infrastructure, or ML platforms
* Experience working on technical products that include APIs, data pipelines, and real-time systems
* Exposure to charge cards, pay-over-time models, or credit underwriting platforms
* Experience with Visa or Mastercard rules and disputes frameworks
* Knowledge of how AI/ML is regulated in financial services (model explainability, bias mitigation)
* Prior experience in scaling risk and legal policies across multiple U.S. states or globally
* Fluency in how fraud, KYC, and compliance intersect with customer onboarding and lifecycle
* Familiarity with tools like Alloy, Sardine, Unit21, and machine learning model pipelines
* Strong collaboration skills-particularly across Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Data Science
* An ability to simplify complexity and clearly communicate strategy, prioritization, and tradeoffs.
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
This job is not eligible for bonuses, incentives or commissions.
