PBM Project Manager

Project Overview Responsibilities:

This Sr PM will support a large strategic project team for Modifications of HIPAA NCPDP Retail Pharmacy Standards and Medicaid Pharmacy Subrogation and be part of the Core Project Team. A standard Sr. PM description is probably fine for general PM sills (normal PM ask for managing scope, schedule, budget + RAID, stakeholder, communication, status, financial management through the project lifecycles).
The project team is just getting built and will look to bring in folks through year end with possible extension as the project will go into 2028. PMs will complete kick-off, monitor and manage financials, report status, manage RAID items, and ensure we are staying on track delivery. Looking for PMs with Core claims adjudication knowledge and understand all the various downstream impacted processes.
Will need to work with vendors, pharmacies, clients and internal IT and operational areas. Impacted areas include Eligibility, COB, FIR, Subrogation, Billing, Pricing, PDE, Rebates, Web, Reporting, Clinical Ops/Clinical Management/Forumulary/DUR, Ben Ops, Member Experience, and more.

Skills:

Ideally this PM would have strong PM skills and strong knowledge of the PBM industry.
IT project management experience is needed.
Experience working with org change management will be helpful as one of the projects will impact a very large team and they will need active communication, training, buy-in, etc.
Must be comfortable with client facing project meetings and working with vendors.
