Overview

We are seeking a database administrator to consultant designs and implements individual components of the Oracle products based on area of expertise. Analyzes detailed requirements and develops detailed design for a specific Oracle product or technology. Provides implementation services for a specific product to include extensions and additional configurations necessary to implement customer unique business processes and workflows. Performs routine health checks and optimizations of system performance, availability, access controls and security. Performs system optimization, performance tuning and assists in capacity planning. Performs proactive analysis of potential issues, risks and roadblocks during system implementation and operations.
Required Qualifications
Security Clearance: YS/SCI w/Poly
10 + years experience administering to, and engineering solutions with Postress, and MySQL & Oracle's database (10 - current).
BS in Computer Science or related course of study, or equivalent year's experience.
Must be an independent worker with strong communications skills.
Desired Qualifications
Experience with the production and deployment of RAC, RMAN backup & recovery
Experience with Oracle Exadata, DB security, Data Guard and / or DB Vault, Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control, label security, and data migration
