Title : IT Support specialist

Location : Toronto, ON

Client : ICICI Bank

Payrate : 42000/CAD Per Annum on INC or Sole

Contact Duration: 1 Year

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, chat, or in-person.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, applications, and peripheral devices.
• Manage user accounts and permissions in systems such as Active Directory, Office 365, and other platforms.
• Monitor and respond to IT support tickets in a timely manner.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate IT staff or external vendors.
• Perform routine maintenance and updates on systems and software.
• Assist in setting up new user workstations and onboarding IT processes.
• Document support issues, resolutions, and troubleshooting steps in the help desk system.
• Maintain security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
• Support mobile device management and remote access tools.
• Participate in IT projects and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Associate s or Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1 3 years of experience in a technical support role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and remote support tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or as part of a team.
