Data Research / Technology Asset Manager
Large Banking Client
Duration: 6-12 month contract to hire
Location: Raleigh, NC / Richmond, VA / Greensboro, NC / Charlotte, NC / Atlanta, GA
Top Requirements:
7+ Years of Experience within Networking or Software or Data Engineering within Technical Assets Strong Data Analysis Skills: Process, analyze and interpret data to identify patterns, trends or anomalies STRONG COMMUNICATION: Needs to be aggressive, and escalate as far up to the CIO at times. SQL Database Experience
Project Overview:
Our client is building out a brand-new team within their Cybersecurity/Data Integration group. The reason for the needs is they have been asked to solve a problem where their vulnerabilities have been scanned, but they do not know where these are coming from. So, this team will research its assets, investigate throughout the company (where IP addresses are, who owns them, where do they belong), and work/coordinate with team members to go find these answers based on the vulnerabilities they have. The manager needs someone who can really understand Networking, Software, and Assets where they can go into these environments, and then begin the search. This Manager will also have a few team members underneath he will help lead.

Data Research / Technology Manager
- 7-15 yrs experience in technical positions at large American companies
- Expert Data Analysis: The ability to process, analyze and interpret data from assets to identify patterns, trends and anomalies
- Good Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of scanning software and industry software tools used for scanning, imaging, and data analysis.
- Expert Analytical Skills: The ability to critically evaluate information, draw conclusions, and identify key insights from data
- Good Problem-Solving Skills: the capacity to identify and resolve issues related to asset identification, classification, data integrity and the overall research process
- Expert Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate research findings and recommendations to management and teammates
- Attention to Detail: The ability to meticulously examine data and identify inconsistences, errors, and strategic solutions
- The willingness and ability to adjust research approaches based on new information or hurdles in current processes
- Proficient organization skills to track progress, document inventories and deliver status updates
- The capacity to quickly learn new tools, techniques, and information relevant to the research process
- The ability to mentor junior associates in the above skill sets
