Job Details

Description
Supporting the transition of headquarters operations to Charlotte. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role focused on providing technical support to remaining HQ staff and hangar mechanics.
Key Responsibilities:
-Provide first-level technical support for hardware and software issues via phone and in person
-Build and image new computers for incoming employees
-Troubleshoot IT issues including software errors, installations, and hardware problems
-Support mechanics at the hangar post-HQ closure
-Collect, box, and ship hardware to Technical Distribution Centers in Charlotte and Dallas
-Maintain awareness of system-wide outages and escalate incidents as needed
-Communicate effectively with Level 2 support and management
-No password resets required
Tech Environment:
-Operating Systems: Windows 10 & Windows 11 (transitioning fully to Windows 11)
-Ticketing System: ServiceNow (implementation begins November)
-Other Technologies: PC hardware, laptops, printers, LAN/WAN, dot matrix printers, internal server/mainframe apps (Shares, QIK, IBM/TSO/TPX, SCEPTRE)

Ideal Candidate Profile:
-2+ years of Help Desk or customer service experience
-Strong troubleshooting skills in service desk environments
-Comfortable with face-to-face technical support (not just call center experience)
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
-Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
-Apple Certification (Apple Genius) and/or A+ Certification preferred

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
