Position: Power Product Design Engineering Program Manager (EPM)
Location: Austin, TX
Duration: 3 months to start with

Manager is looking for 3 to 7 years of experience with ideally at least 5 years. Hybrid work Schedule (onsite Tuesday - Thursday). Remote Mondays and Fridays

We're seeking a Power Product Design Engineering Program Manager (EPM) to lead the design and development of advanced power adapters and custom components. In this highly collaborative role, you'll partner with cross-functional teams to deliver world-class power solutions that meet Client's high standards for performance, quality, and design.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams-including mechanical, system, tooling, and validation engineers-to drive program execution from concept to mass production.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring strong communication between internal teams and external vendors.
Plan and manage prototype builds, DOE/trials, and factory operations.
Identify technical challenges and drive resolution through collaboration and clear decision-making.
Define program risks and develop mitigation strategies across technology teams.
Communicate key milestones, risks, and program updates to stakeholders, including executive leadership.
Manage development budgets, purchase orders, and change requests.
Oversee design reviews and validation schedules for custom components.
Coordinate system integration to ensure seamless compatibility and performance.
Support regulatory and compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to safety, environmental, and regional standards.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of hardware engineering experience in consumer electronics.
3+ years of project management experience driving complex hardware development programs.
Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with rapid development cycles.
Highly curious, proactive, and adaptable approach to problem solving.

Preferred Qualifications
Direct experience working with vendors and contract manufacturing partners to plan and execute engineering builds.
Proven success managing diverse, cross-functional teams toward shared goals.
Experience managing both strategic initiatives and ambiguous, open-ended technical challenges.
