We are hiring DevOps Engineer Specialist!
Role: DevOps Engineer Specialist
Supporting: Large Financial Services Client
Location: Onsite McLean, VA
Position Description: We are looking for a dynamic DevOps Engineer Specialist with a robust background in DevOps and cloud ecosystems. This role emphasizes solution architecture, where you will design integration diagrams, capability heat maps, and milestone trackers, utilizing tools like AWS, Jenkins, and the Atlassian suite. If you have five or more years of experience in architect roles within mid to large size cloud-heavy environments and are ready to drive cloud modernization forward, we want to talk to you. Qualifications:
BS in Computer Science, IT, IS, or equivalent (IT experience can substitute for a degree).
Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS EC2, Terraform, Vault, CyberArk, HashiCorp, Lambda.
Knowledge of Python, R, JavaScript, Node.js, Go, Gradle, Maven, JFrog Artifactory, JUnit.
Experience with Git/Bitbucket, Jira, GitLab, Jenkins, Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Bamboo, Confluence, Splunk, ELK, Nagios, Grafana, ServiceNow, Teams, Control-M, Airflow, CloudWatch, SolarWinds.
Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Visio, or similar tools.
Proficient in generating metrics reports using data from Jira and ServiceNow.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong customer service orientation.
Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Process-oriented with excellent documentation skills.
Knowledge of best practices in IT operations for high-availability services.
Experience with Agile Software Development methodologies.
