Senior Accountant

What will your day look like? As a Senior Accountant you will:

• Apply U.S. GAAP accounting expertise, especially ASC 606 and ASC 842, to determine proper accounting for customer contract modifications and variations, and ensure RAR results are accurate.
• Execute revenue accounting for global marketing programs both in RAR and Microsoft Excel. You will drive and support revenue accounting process improvements for reporting, gathering data, and accounting.
• Support period-end close processes which may include reconciliation of internal accounts, comparing actual performance to latest financial outlook, preparing expense and revenue accruals and reviewing accuracy of gross margin, revenue, and expense information.
• Analyze and create revenue accounting information for annual, quarterly, and monthly reports and financial statements, ensuring financial information is presented and recorded accurately. Support financial projects budgets for financial statements from revenues to opening margins and key balance sheet items.
• Develop various analyses, presentations, and reports; perform ad hoc financial forecasting, analysis and modeling, and special project support as needed. Partner with commercial finance and marketing operations; consult with and advise business partners.

You will be a good fit for the Senior Accountant role if you have:

• 5+ years of accounting experience in public accounting (preferably in a Big 4 firm serving publicly-listed multi-national clients)
• ASC 606 experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with ability to use advanced functions and data analysis tools
• Understanding of applicable accounting rules and regulations. Expert knowledge of financial analysis concepts and practice.
• Experience with general ledger module of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, SAP preferred
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
