Project Manager - Implementation

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Project Manager-for a OneStream Implementation project being a remote opportunity with one of our premier clients.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (PM) to lead the end-to-end implementation of OneStream, our next-generation Corporate Performance Management (CPM) platform. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing complex software deployments, preferably with direct experience in OneStream or similar CPM/EPM solutions (e.g., Hyperion, Tagetik, SAP BPC). This is a high-visibility role working cross-functionally with Finance, IT, and external consultants to deliver a best-in-class solution that transforms our financial consolidation, planning, and reporting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership:
  Lead all phases of the OneStream implementation project, from initiation and planning through execution, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Stakeholder Management:
  Serve as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party consultants. Facilitate clear communication and alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
• Project Planning & Execution:
  Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and budgets. Monitor progress, proactively identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Requirements Gathering:
  Collaborate with Finance and IT teams to document business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and ensure alignment with OneStream capabilities.
• Change Management:
  Drive user adoption by coordinating training, developing documentation, and supporting change management initiatives.
• Quality Assurance:
  Oversee system configuration, integration, data migration, and testing activities to ensure high-quality delivery and compliance with requirements.
• Reporting:
  Provide regular project status updates to senior leadership, highlighting achievements, issues, and next steps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience, with at least 2 years leading CPM/EPM implementations (OneStream experience strongly preferred).
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is a plus.
• In-depth understanding of financial consolidation, planning, and reporting processes.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional, global teams and external vendors.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with OneStream configuration or administration.
• Familiarity with data integration, ETL, and financial data modeling.
• Experience in the [industry, manufacturing,] sector.
