Location: Onsite in New Mexico

Position Type: Contract (Long-Term Federal Project)

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday | 40 Hours per Week | No Remote/No Holidays


Job Overview:

We are seeking an Information Technology (IT) Specialist to support a federal healthcare facility. This is a full-time onsite opportunity providing IT infrastructure support to critical healthcare operations. The role involves Windows server management, network support, and maintenance of EHR systems, ensuring reliable IT services in a clinical environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers and systems.

  • Support EHR (Electronic Health Records) and clinical IT applications.

  • Perform system updates, patching, backups, and troubleshooting.

  • Manage network resources, security protocols, and user access.

  • Monitor infrastructure performance and optimize systems as needed.

  • Submit regular operational reports and follow healthcare IT best practices.

  • Provide occasional end-user training and IT guidance.


Must-Have Skills:

  • Windows Server Administration (installation, patching, troubleshooting).

  • Experience with EHR systems (Electronic Health Records), preferably in healthcare settings.

  • Knowledge of network support, system security, and backup procedures.

  • Ability to work independently and follow strict operational guidelines.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant IT infrastructure experience.

  • Healthcare IT experience is preferred.

  • Must be willing to meet federal background checks and vaccination requirements.


Additional Requirements:

  • 100% Onsite role; no remote work available.

  • Must comply with all healthcare facility protocols including immunization policies and background screening.
