RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Sierra Vista, AZ that is seeking an Intermediate Defense Assessment Analyst.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and conduct assessments of operational threats and vulnerabilities in cyber environments
* The Intermediate Defense Assessment Analyst will perform network penetration testing, web application security assessments, and social engineering exercises
* Analyze current system configurations to determine compliance with required security standards
* Provide risk analysis and recommendations for corrective action
* Apply scientific, statistical, and economic principles to support decision-making and model operational impacts
* Utilize advanced methods such as linear programming, game theory, and probability to evaluate cyber risk
* The Intermediate Defense Assessment Analyst will offer expert consultation and guidance on complex cybersecurity issues
* Develop innovative and practical solutions that align with organizational goals
REQUIREMENTS:
* Master's degree (MA/MS) and 10+ years of related experience, or Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) and 12+ years of related experience
* IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or equivalent)
* GIAC Certified Penetration Tester (GPEN)
* Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
* Must meet DoD 8570 requirements for Technical Level III
* Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
* Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
