Location - Prefer Chicago, IL based candidate - Remote is also fine (Candidate needs to come to the office when asked), (Preferred CST/EST time zone candidates)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Salesforce Developer with over 10 years of hands-on technical expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess deep proficiency in Salesforce platform development, especially Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC), and will be comfortable solving complex, scenario-based coding challenges during the interview process.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative solutions within the Banking and Financial Services domain, leveraging the full power of Salesforce s Service, Sales, and Financial Services Clouds (FSC). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, high-performance systems that enhance customer and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and deploy high-quality Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, and related technologies.

  • Optimize and manage platform performance within Salesforce governor limits and best practices.

  • Build and maintain integrations with external systems using REST APIs.

  • Collaborate with Product Owners, QA, and other developers in an Agile/Scrum environment using tools such as JIRA.

  • Contribute to solution architecture, system design, and technical documentation.

  • Implement and maintain GIT-based source control for code versioning and deployment automation.

  • Ensure solutions meet business and compliance requirements specific to the financial domain.

  • Proactively troubleshoot and resolve production and development issues.

Required Technical Skills

  • Salesforce Apex (Advanced level)

  • Lightning Web Components (LWC)

  • SOQL / SOSL

  • Governor Limits optimization

  • HTML, JavaScript, CSS

  • REST API Integration

  • Version Control Systems (e.g., GIT)

  • Issue Tracking & Agile Tools (e.g., JIRA)

  • Salesforce Clouds: FSC (Financial Services Cloud), Service Cloud, Sales Cloud

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in the Banking or Financial Services sector.

  • Salesforce Certifications such as:

    • Salesforce Platform Developer I & II

    • Salesforce Financial Services Cloud Consultant

    • Salesforce Service or Sales Cloud Consultant

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
