As a key leader in our R&D and manufacturing organization, you will manage engineering activities and personnel for a designated product program. You'll define critical processes and procedures, guide your team through complex product development lifecycles, and ensure that we meet ambitious milestones-all while advancing industry-leading medical technologies.

What You'll Do

  • Lead a team of engineers in all aspects of process engineering for a defined product line or program.

  • Ensure engineering resources (people, equipment, tools) are in place to support current and future development needs.

  • Oversee training, performance reviews, and professional development for your direct reports.

  • Provide technical direction and act as project lead across development, integration, verification, and reliability activities.

  • Coordinate and support Operations and Field Service with engineering guidance and troubleshooting.

  • Drive risk management activities (FMECA, FTA) and ensure compliance with design control and quality systems.

  • Develop and report on project schedules, metrics, and contingency plans to keep initiatives on track.

  • Author or review technical documents including protocols, test methods, change requests, design analyses, and risk assessments.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering procedures and best practices.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related technical field (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Biomedical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering). Master's preferred.

  • 8+ years of engineering experience (or 6+ years with a Master's degree).

  • 3+ years in a functional leadership or supervisory capacity. Strong knowledge of process engineering, product development, and design control within a regulated environment.

  • Proficiency with root cause analysis, risk management tools (FMECA, FTA), and engineering documentation.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.

  • Experience managing cross-functional and international teams is a plus.

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a mission-driven company advancing global healthcare solutions

  • Work alongside brilliant scientists and engineers at the forefront of diagnostics innovation

  • Enjoy competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package

  • Opportunities for international collaboration and travel

  • Clear path for career growth and technical leadership
