IAM Analyst - Sailpoint IDN- Remote role - (Canada based)

Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems or a related field.
  • 4-7+ years in Identity & Access Management (IAM) analyst roles (or similar IT Security roles)
  • IT audit experience is preferred
  • Familiarity with IAM concepts and best practices
  • Technical and operational knowledge of SailPoint IdentityNow (IDN) platform
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, facilitate discussions, present findings and recommendations, and create and deliver training and communications
  • Strong project management skills to manage process improvement initiatives, including planning, coordination, and execution
  • Experience with security standards (such as NIST, ISO) and regulatory compliance (e.g., SOX, GDPR, HIPAA)
  • Experience leading resources in multiple time zones
  • Familiarity with Agile Methodology is preferred
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques to gather, analyze, and interpret process data
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing business needs
  • Proficiency in process mapping techniques, such as flowcharts, swim lane diagrams, or value stream mapping.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Senior IAM Analyst, you will play a crucial role in growing the organization's identity and access management processes. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and optimize IAM solutions, with specific expertise in SailPoint IDN, directory services (LDAP, Microsoft Active Directory) and proficiency in solutions that support authentication.

  • Evaluate current SailPoint processes, workflows, and systems to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
  • Maintain the IDN system according to changes in the organization s business needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IAM solutions with various systems, applications, and cloud services
  • Lead requirements gathering for IDN updates, enhancements, and application integrations
  • Create functional specifications and assist with technical specifications for IDN offshore team
  • Oversee two (2) SailPoint engineers (offshore) responsible for designing and implementing IDN system changes
  • Ensure IDN system and processes comply with internal security policies and standards
  • Gather and analyze data related to process performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs), process metrics, and other relevant data points
  • Update existing process documentation for IDN
  • Maintain current and ongoing requirements for role-based access mappings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand access requirements and design and implement enhanced role-based access controls.
  • Facilitate change initiatives by communicating process improvements, providing training and support to stakeholders, and addressing concerns or resistance to change.
  • Participate in IAM audits and review access control reports to identify potential risks.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement by staying updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and process optimization techniques.
