Title: PSA WAMS Engineer (EMS)

1. WAMS/EMS Application Development: Designs, develops, and implements WAMS/EMS applications and real‑time control components within mission‑critical EMS platforms

2. System Integration & Lifecycle Management: Executes full lifecycle development including enhancements, integration, maintenance, and deployment of real‑time operational systems

3. Testing & Commissioning: Performs rigorous FAT, integration testing, and on‑site commissioning to ensure system reliability, stability, and performance

4. Troubleshooting & Technical Issue Resolution: Diagnoses and resolves complex hardware, OS, networking, and EMS/WAMS software issues to maintain high availability

5. Programming & Platform Expertise: Demonstrates strong proficiency in C, C++, SQL, shell scripting, and UNIX/Linux/Windows environments with deep understanding of real‑time data acquisition and communication protocols.

 

We are looking for a PSA WAMS Engineer to join our EMS Platform Services team, focusing on the development, integration, and support of advanced WAMS (Wide Area Monitoring Systems) solutions for power system operations. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in EMS platforms and a strong background in real-time, mission-critical environments. This role involves working on high-availability systems that enable reliable energy management and control, ensuring operational excellence for utility and transmission networks.
