Senior Salesforce Lightning Developer Auburn Hills, Michigan 48326 (hybrid: 2-3 Days onsite per week) 6 Months

Education and Years of Experience:

  • 5-7 years of experience as Salesforce and/or Web Developer implementing Salesforce & Web solutions.
  • 4+ years of experience as Salesforce Platform Consultant

Required Skills/Certifications:

  • Experience integrating AI or automation into Salesforce workflows.
  • Familiarity with Git, SFDX, and modern CI/CD practices
  • Extensive Hands on experience with Salesforce Lightning Service Cloud as developer & administrator
  • Strong experience in using Apex Classes, Visual force page to customize portals
  • Strong experience in using SoQL, Process Builder, Lightning components for UI
  • Development experience on SF Community Cloud desired.
  • Strong working knowledge with web technologies XML, HTML, CSS, WSDL, SOAP, JSON
  • Strong technical development skills in Oracle 12C, SQL Plus & TOAD
  • Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform Developer I, & SF App Builder certifications a must.
  • Ability to operate to brand needs and deliver results to time, quality and cost control
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (technical and non-technical)
  • Extremely Detail-Oriented individual with the ability to multi-task
  • Capable of performing tasks in dynamic/changing circumstances
  • Strong customer-focused individual with a passion for responding to the needs of customers
  • Ability to quickly get up to speed and learn new technologies and concepts
  • Strong analytical skills similar to data scientist
  • Automotive, & CRM industry experience a plus.
  • Prior experience as Salesforce Consultant to business and mapping requirements to Salesforce Platform a must.
  • Leverage Salesforce's AI capabilities, including Einstein and GPT-powered tools, to design and implement intelligent, data-driven solutions that enhance user experience and automate complex business processes.
  • Extensive Hands on experience with Salesforce Lightning Service Cloud as developer & administrator

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Sr. Salesforce Platform Developer leads & supports the existing salesforce system landscape and leads the development of CRM use cases on the lightning platform. Sr. CRM engineer designs solutions on the platform to enable CRM use cases. This role works with customer data and ensures client privacy and security policies are observed, data is cleansed and of quality to support customer communication. Role also supports CRM and marketing related projects on salesforce as a subject matter expert (SME) and participate in process improvement including DevOps and is able to deliver over-all Sales force Solution blue printing and built on existing architecture

  • Serves as Salesforce functional subject matter expert
  • Lead the integration of Salesforce with external systems via APIs and middleware (REST/SOAP).
  • Translate business requirements into well-architected technical solutions.
  • Maintain and improve CI/CD processes for Salesforce deployments.
  • Implement AI-driven features using Salesforce Einstein, GPT APIs, and other predictive tools to enhance business workflows.
  • Map business requirements into native salesforce functionality
  • Provides best practice guidance regarding configuration vs. customization
  • Design technical architecture of the solution
  • Design and deliver data integration and migration strategy into SFDC platform
  • Feasibility analysis of business requirements
  • Ability to understand data sourcing, volume & velocity and make recommendations for system implementation
  • Validate Salesforce object model
  • Ability to map Business requirements to detailed Salesforce product specifications
  • Guidance with mapping of the roadmap of key components
  • Domain testing of Application to execute on the business cases
  • Documents and analyzes business processes using value-added/non-value-added, process modeling tools, cost-time charts, and root cause analysis or other tools as appropriate
  • Documents functional requirements for use by application designers and developers
  • Experience in Business Process Management, initial scoping, requirement analysis, Solution design, Application support
  • Work with marketing agency partners to consult and support marketing campaigns
