Job Details

Job Title: UX/Visual Designer I
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)
Duration: 04 months contract with extension

Overall Responsibilities:
In this role, you will design and implement solutions based on product requirements, elevate the user experience of internal tools for all employees, and collaborate closely with user research and engineering partners.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
Create design concepts (e.g., mock-ups, prototypes, models) to effectively communicate design ideas.
Rapidly iterate on designs based on feedback from users and stakeholders.
Work with the engineering team to ensure designs are implemented to spec and collaborate on creative design solutions when technical challenges arise.

Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:
2 years working as a professional user experience designer.
A solid understanding of user-centered and interaction design principles and best practices with a fluency using UX tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Framer, etc.).
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build good working relationships across varying levels of the organization.
Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of Designers, Engineers, Product Managers, and Researchers throughout the end to end design process.

Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications:
Experience working on Enterprise products, especially HR related projects
Ability to work within a highly technical environment; good understanding of technical requirements and limitations.
Strong hybrid design skills across interaction, visual, prototyping and motion design.

Pay Range: $40/HR - $44/HR on W2

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
