Description

We are looking for a skilled Power BI Data Quality Analyst to join our team in Sarasota, Florida for a hybrid 3 days onsite role. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a key role in driving data-driven decision-making through strategic analysis, reporting, and performance measurement. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate across departments, manage special projects, and contribute to the development of innovative business solutions.

Responsibilities:

Lead technology-related initiatives, including website management, to ensure accurate and accessible information for departmental operations.

Develop and execute communication strategies, representing the department in system-wide policy and technology development discussions.

Analyze performance metrics to identify gaps, improve operations, and support strategic planning efforts.

Review and enhance policies and procedures to ensure efficiency, compliance, and alignment with administrative standards.

Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to promote innovation, gather feedback, and drive process improvements.

Coordinate the creation and execution of the annual Strategic Business Plan by aligning proposals and action items across various divisions.

Conduct research to identify trends and strategic opportunities, providing actionable insights to support long-term goals.

Work with division managers to develop, analyze, and refine departmental performance measures for data-driven decision-making.

Manage special projects, including public records management and compliance with Florida Statutes, under the guidance of the Department Director.

Prepare and deliver technical reports, presentations, and other key departmental documents for stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Planning, Industrial or Technology, or a related field, plus two years of relevant experience.

Alternatively, six years of experience demonstrating attention to detail may be considered in lieu of a degree, depending on management discretion.

Proficiency in Power BI, Microsoft Office Suite, and other data visualization tools, with the ability to adapt to new technologies.

Strong understanding of business operations, program or project management, and financial processes.

Knowledge of data collection, research techniques, and best practices for performance analysis and reporting.

Experience creating dashboards, reporting tools, and ensuring data quality.

Familiarity with Six Sigma principles and quality assurance methodologies.

Advanced communication skills to effectively present findings and collaborate across teams.
