Software Support Specialist

Could you be a good fit? We re looking for the best, highly skilled Software Support Specialist to join the team of our exceptional client in the greater Portland ME area for a contract opportunity. This is a remote or hybrid onsite role (for those local to Portland, ME).

What will your day look like? As a Software Support Specialist, you will:

• Perform testing, debugging, coding, research, triage, documentation, and/or other activities in support of software development work.
• Analyze and evaluate data and incorporate into software development solutions.
• Perform work related to the development, design, testing, and implementation of software used in company products.
• Provide customer support, troubleshooting issues and contributing to production and release documentation.
• Participate in partnered on-call rotation to provide customer support on a rolling schedule.

You'll be a good fit for the Software Support Specialist role if you:

• Have 3 or more years in the software support space
• Have troubleshooting skills and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Foundational IT skills like networking, Windows support, and functional testing.
