We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in HVAC systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license and bring expertise in designing, analyzing, and optimizing HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, or institutional facilities.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning for new and existing buildings.
Perform load calculations, energy modeling, and system sizing using industry-standard tools.
Prepare construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes and standards.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.
Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure proper installation and performance.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC system design and engineering.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and HVAC design software (e.g., Trane TRACE, HAP).
Strong knowledge of ASHRAE standards and local building codes.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
