Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with strong expertise in manufacturing processes, PFMEA, work instructions, and onsite offshore coordination. The candidate will work directly at the customer location and support day-to-day manufacturing engineering activities for aerospace production lines.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily manufacturing activities at the customer site, ensuring smooth production workflow.

  • Validate Manufacturing Work Instructions (MWI) and red-lined Operation Sheets (OP sheets) at the shop floor.

  • Coordinate with offshore teams by providing required inputs, clarifications, and technical guidance.

  • Perform random quality checks on documents and deliverables produced by offshore teams.

  • Create Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for assembly and sub-assembly lines.

  • Deliver comprehensive manufacturing engineering support including:

    • Process studies

    • Process improvements

    • Line balancing

    • Time studies

    • Quality checks

    • Report preparation

  • Collaborate with customer teams to document project progress, update reports, and recommend revisions as needed.

  • Manage project documentation, records, and reports in alignment with customer requirements.

  • Execute daily activities assigned by the customer team related to time studies, quality, and process optimization.

Required Skills

  • 5 10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the aerospace sector.

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and shop-floor operations.

  • Hands-on experience with PFMEA and process documentation.

  • Ability to create and validate Manufacturing Work Instructions (MWIs).

  • Experience working in both onsite and offshore delivery models.

  • Exposure to Solumina or similar manufacturing execution tools.

  • Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
