Job Description
In this role you will:
Use systems engineering processes to control aspects of program execution
Analyze proposed changes of product design to determine the effect on the overall product and system
Coordinate modification records for management control
Establish change orders and prepare change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor personnel
Prepare reports of change effect on overall product
Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinate changes with Engineering, Quality, Support, Manufacturing, and engineering data control activities
Review change accounting activity to ensure compliance with configuration management policies
Lead and/or act as voting member on hardware reviews and Physical configuration audits
Other tasks you may perform include:
Handling Contract Deliverable Requirement List (CDRL) schedules, deliveries and verification in accordance with contract requirements and schedules
Maintaining program access control for Configuration & Data Management (C&DM) systems/tools
Preparing data for archival and maintain archive records for retrieval as required
Maintaining a document number system and providing document numbers as required
Handling the review and retention of supplier data
Conducting the configuration of supplier Statement of Work (SOW)/SDRL
Basic Qualifications
Systems Engineering process knowledge or experience and complete lifecycle experience with Engineering processes and reviews
Experience with change control processes and analyzing proposed changes to determine effect on overall product and system including identifying potentially impacted subsystems
Proficient with PTC Windchill software or other Enterprise Product Data Management (EPDM) systems
Experienced in Microsoft Office applications
U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance
Desired skills
Bachelors in Engineering or similar field
Configuration Management skills on sophisticated systems including one or more of the following: Engineering Release, Product Identification, Baseline Change Control
Experience with one ore more of the following: Hardware Acceptance reviews and Physical Configuration Audits, Status Accounting, As-Designed/As-Built, Verification/Audit
Experience with Contract Deliverable Requirement List (CDRL), managing deliverable schedules and performing deliveries to the customer
Systems thinking
Knowledge of Model Base Systems Engineering (MBSE), or CAMEO for System Architecture Modeling or Configuration Control
Active or Current security clearance

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
