Robert Half Marketing & Creative is looking for a freelance UX Designer for one of our clients in Greensboro, NC! This position is a 100% remote freelance opportunity.
We're looking for a Senior UX Designer with deep experience in ecommerce and direct-to-consumer (DTC) storefronts to help craft user-centered, engaging, and accessible digital experiences. In this role, you'll be involved from concept to execution-partnering with cross-functional teams to design intuitive, visually compelling, and high-converting user interfaces for global brands.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with strategy, research, and creative teams to guide and apply UX research insights
- Translate ideas and data into structured design solutions (user flows, wireframes, prototypes, sitemaps)
- Present work clearly to both internal stakeholders and clients
- Design with accessibility and ADA compliance in mind
- Work closely with developers to ensure feasibility and functionality
- Produce design documentation to support implementation by front-end and back-end teams
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in UX or interactive design roles
- Strong portfolio demonstrating ecommerce and/or DTC UX projects
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools - Figma is required (Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, etc. are a plus)
- Experience using or designing within design systems (Material Design, Material 3 preferred)
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (ADA compliance, inclusive design)
- Working knowledge of front-end development concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience with CRM or personalization platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar)
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Strong grasp of typography, color theory, layout, and animation principles
