Position: Electrical Engineer

Location: Clarksville TN (hybrid)

Duration of project: 12 months +

HM Notes: ****This team does control box layout, harness design & unit schematics and component sizing\, NOT control board design *****

• Harness assemblies, electrical component qualification
• Design, Develop and Test the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment
• 2+ years of exp with electrical components, UL508 Control panel design and assembly, sizing electrical components, harness manufacturing, designing wire harnesses
• Creo/AutoCAD (not a lot of design work)
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to organize technical information and distribute it across diverse teams
• Project management background
• Excel analytics
• Circuit breakers, fuse blocks, power distro blocks, control box layouts, harness design, unit schematics, component sizing (NEC/UL508) (Not control board SW/HW design)

Summary:

• Design, develop, qualify, test, research electrical components for commercial HVAC products.
• Support new and existing product electrical designs/components in an industrial manufacturing plant.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor degree in engineering required (preferably in electrical engineering)
• 2+ years of experience required

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and test electrical equipment/components including machinery control panel controls, power components, wiring, and schematics.
• Evaluate the cost effectiveness, reliability and safety of certain design models.
• Estimate time and cost to complete projects.
• Simulate and test machine/structure/system operation.
• Investigate and test vendors' and competitors' products.
• This role has been designated by the Company as Safety Sensitive.
