The pay range for this position is $148,500.00 - $212,200.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. Your role in our mission
- Creates highly complex application architectures for Medicaid solutions leveraging .NET technologies and cloud-native services.
- Ability to code scalable solutions, and also contribute directly to development by building prototypes, writing code, and mentoring teams.
- Establish architectural standards, security controls, and performance benchmarks.
- Ensure adherence to CMS Modular Certification, MITA maturity model, and interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, X12 EDI).
- Lead design of PBM applications across claims, prior authorization, formulary, drug utilization review, rebates, and eligibility systems.
- Define end-to-end architecture for Medicaid Claims, Encounter, and financial systems.
- Partner with business leaders, state agencies, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Mentor engineers, solution architects, and development teams on best practices in .NET, microservices, and cloud adoption.
- Coordinates with application developers, managers and customer application experts to ensure that required features and modifications are included in the appropriates releases to support cross-product features and to communicate architectural designs and standards.
- Conducts and provides cost analyses to determine the feasibility of various approaches.
- Provides advice and counsel regarding product content, as appropriate, as requirements or policies change. Designs application modules that work together to produce the desired product.
- Provides high-level analysis and design reviews to avoid duplication of effort in solving the same application problems with different products.
- Works with third party vendors to develop software and/or integrate their software into the company's products.
- Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.
- Evaluates new technologies and software products to determine feasibility and desirability of incorporating their capabilities within the company products.

- Entrepreneurial in your approach and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Must have a sound understanding of the software development and software test lifecycle.
- Must have a sound understanding of the Agile methodology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for application design, coordination, and testing.
- Leadership skills to lead and guide teams and projects.
