Job Details

DPP is seeking a Systems Administrator III for an opportunity in Englewood, Colorado.

Work arrangement:
  • Hybrid or Onsite in Colorado
  • W2 position; 6 months
Position summary:
  • Manage and maintain servers and related infrastructure components.
  • Manage and maintain AI systems, including hardware and software components.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation of IT infrastructure.
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance to ensure security and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve on premise and cloud infrastructure
  • Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Administer and support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other network services.
  • Administrator and support Azure Entra and RBAC
  • Manage virtualization environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and junior IT staff.
  • Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and network diagrams.
  • Ensure NIST 800-171 compliance.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field with at least 6 or more years of relevant experience. Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
  • 3-5 years of experience implementing and supporting Hypervisor/Hyperconverged environments (VMware, Nutanix etc.)
  • 1-3 years of experience implementing and supporting AWS or Azure Cloud Operations
  • 3-5 years of experience with IT Operations Monitoring Tools (Azure Monitor, vROperations, SolarWinds)
  • Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity between server-to-server infrastructure across environments
  • Experience with networks (LAN, WAN, VLAN) and patch management of devices
  • Familiarity with administration and troubleshooting various operating systems and platforms (Microsoft, Red Hat, Azure, AWS)
  • Excellent communication skills
