Description: Our client is currently seeking a Technical Program Manager 3
Project Overview:
The Digital Buildings Team is part of the Technical Infrastructure team in Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) organization. The team is responsible for the strategy behind the systems in our workplace buildings including IoT and digital building infrastructure. The team is the leader and a major contributor to the BOS programmer, smart buildings platform for it's real estate portfolio. As the BOS program moves towards scaling across the portfolio there is a short to medium term need to run pilot projects to prove value.
Overall Responsibilities:
Working under the direction of the Digital Systems team leader the TPM will develop and direct the 'Proof of Value' projects in London and New York and other smart buildings pilot projects. They will be responsible for stakeholder engagement, setting measurable project targets and leading the vendor teams completing the projects. The TPM will act as a point of escalation for the teams, problem solve with them and be responsible for the procurement of the resources required to complete the projects.
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
The role is multifaceted with a need to work at medium term strategic level as well as day-to-day tactical delivery.
Daily responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Proactive engagement with stakeholders
Proactive engagement with project vendor teams including assessing their progress against agreed goals and resolving problems and escalations
Looking for ways to improve velocity and value in the delivery of the projects
Reporting on progress to the Digital Systems team leader.
Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree relevant to the role or equivalent practical experience
Minimum 5 years experience managing programs for a technical portfolio with cross-functional and outsourced teams
Experience managing programs for a portfolio of buildings in multiple geographies to defined timelines, budgets and quality metrics.
Experience in procurement and negotiation with vendors including managed service delivery
A background in smart buildings, control systems, IoT systems, IoT cyber security, energy management or similar.
Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications:
An industry certification in smart buildings, control systems, IoT systems, IoT cyber security, energy management or similar.
A track record of delivering technology and technical infrastructure in corporate real estate across multiple locations.
Analytical and critical thinking skills
Skills in requirements gathering, resource organization, task prioritization, scheduling and achieving objectives on schedule within budget.
