We are on the hunt for a dynamic and innovative Mechanical Engineer to join our high-performing manufacturing team. This permanent position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and optimization of our state-of-the-art manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, engineering analysis, and product development, with a proven ability to utilize CAD software to design and optimize manufacturing systems. With a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field, the successful candidate will be adept at problem-solving, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Utilize CAD software to design, develop, and optimize manufacturing systems and processes.
2. Conduct comprehensive engineering analysis to identify potential inefficiencies or areas for improvement in manufacturing processes.
3. Lead product development initiatives, from concept generation through to final product manufacturing.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure products are designed for manufacturability and align with company standards and objectives.
5. Develop and implement maintenance procedures, monitor systems, and resolve issues as they arise.
6. Conduct research to inform the design and production of new technologies and systems.
7. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
8. Continually stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in mechanical engineering and manufacturing technologies.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical engineering within a manufacturing environment.
3. Proficiency with CAD software is a must.
4. Demonstrated experience in mechanical design, engineering analysis, and product development.
5. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
6. Excellent analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for problem-solving.
7. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to a variety of audiences.
9. A proactive and collaborative team player, with a strong ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
10. Commitment to continuous learning and development, and staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.
